    Anyone here deal with anxiety?

    When I go through breakups of serious relationships, I typically get generalized anxiety for a couple months after. Like, I'd go see a dr but I know from experience that it wont last forever so I dont see the point of trying to get onto medication or something.

    Although counseling prob couldnt hurt lol

    I'll probably be fucked with for this thread but wondering what you guys deal if you get anxiety? I figure I cant just be drunk all the time sooooo

    if it's a real anxiety problem, drinking usually makes it worse.

    panic attacks are severe but it depends on what triggers it. for a while it was foods. now its fucking bugs :facepalm:

    I used to. It was terrible. It affected me in work and personally. There was no real rhyme or reason to when it would hit, that I could easily see anyway. I was in therapy for some time and it absolutely helped. It's a thing of the past now. :etm:

    Good luck with it. If you can try therapy with insurance I highly recommend it.

    Just get through it. It can suck hard. Just bullshit your way through it. Counseling, though somewhat of a drag, can be useful in relationships... generally by the time you think about talking to a counselor, you're already on the fucking rocks, though.

    My favorite technique is to grit my teeth and mutter to myself "I am not depressed. I am not depressed. I can take this and a lot more." Also, alcohol. And music.



    And reefer. Did I mention reefer?

    I'm with you. My anxiety is through the roof after a breakup. I usually lose a bunch of weight and look like a Chicken Head.
    It helps to talk to girlfriends about it until they want to murder you... and lavender oil helps too. :thumbup:
