    Sickening, I gave up on Dave several years back. I choose to remember him as the guy who mocked people and disrupted that shitty "Today" show with a bullhorn.

    Those were the days. Loved Dave back then, especially Chris Elliot & the holiday specials..

    I think Dave is in a part of his life where he is reflecting back a lot. He is 67 or so he knows the end is sooner than not.
    I think the Kennedy Honors only intensified this. Dave has mellowed over the years. There was a different expectation when he moved to 11:30, he couldn't get away with those bits done on NBC. Lately though he has been really good.
    Never missed Late Nite in the 80's. Larry Bud Mellmon, Chris Elliott, The World's Most Dangerous Band, Chris Elliott...... Fell asleep in many classes in high school due to Letterman.
