60 days left
As much as Wigward is a total shit-heel these days, he had some damn good appearances in the past.
There was a time you could very easily make the case that they were the two most cutting edge guys in major entertainment.
1989 was a long, long time ago.
I found this old ass clip of Mel Blanc on Letterman
I stopped watching network tv about a decade ago..but I have been a letterman fan for a very long time....been to at least a dozen tapings......I suspect he's the last of a breed
Looks like Howard's twin brother!
At least he won't be reading some insanely imbecilic poem.
I watched his morning show as a kid.
I grew up on the 12:30 show on NBC.
He lost me during the CBS years.
Lots of good stuff there so far, but Christ that's a lot of material for a single page.
My dad taped the NBC show on VHS so the quality from that period is very familiar.
Chris Elliott was nuts.
I'll never get Letterman love.
Top Ten list is the unfunniest bit in entertainment history. All I remember is that he made fun of Paris Hilton and Drew Barrymore flashed her tits.
He came in 2nd place in a 2 horse race his entire life. Good riddance, unfunny faggot.
Opening minutes to David Letterman's short-lived 1980 morning show.
He had Warren Zevon on many times, and was at tapings of some songs. Last appearance Warren did was very close to his death and he did songs that he and Dave liked. I look at the clip of that night to this day and I get all leaky-eyed and stuff. He stood in for Paul when he was on vacation so Dave's promotion of an actual talent was really touching.
A low point.
Letterman is in a class all his own just like Carson.
Leno was good but nobody touches Letterman.
