What is everybody else eating?
breakfast of champions
3.99 plus tax for doritos I remember when a bag was 2.50
That's almost as whit trash as crushed up nacho cheese doritos, turkey taco meat, black beans, grape tomatoes, that gooey mexican cheese shredded up, black olives, diced avocado...tossed in a salad dressing that was a mix of creamy french, ranch, and taco sauce.
It's sad to see Canada has the same sort of problems feeding those on public assistance nutritious meals.
And since its free to them they pay full price instead of 2/$5 or buy one get one free as they are frequently priced.
(that is to say, someone else is buying - not free actually)
So true. I've seen food stamp holders buying blue soda and Doritos at the end of the month just to empty the balance on their card. Who thought that kind of crap was nutritious enough to be covered by food stamps??
I dont get food stamps! I get a check and a basic needs amount is given of 243 month.
I get a paycheck
Does that include housing? Really, I'm curious how you can live on that- it's not much.
I guess then you are getting ready for a hard day at work?
I get about 4000 a year my rent is 116 a month
yes because I care about my family
Damn, all in all that's a pretty lean existance. You should write a book on how to get by on that amount of income. If it weren't for all my toys and work ethic, it'd be interesting to try.
what kind of place can you get for 116 a month? you share a bathroom?
It is VERY difficult my family sends me a gift certificate for groceries every month that is pretty much how I eat.
No government housing it is a 1 bedroom with a balcony.
you shit in a bucket?
why don't you give a tour of your apartment, maybe a picture of the balcony view as well
Good for you Lever. Enjoy your breakfast
