That's almost as whit trash as crushed up nacho cheese doritos, turkey taco meat, black beans, grape tomatoes, that gooey mexican cheese shredded up, black olives, diced avocado...tossed in a salad dressing that was a mix of creamy french, ranch, and taco sauce.
It's sad to see Canada has the same sort of problems feeding those on public assistance nutritious meals.
And since its free to them they pay full price instead of 2/$5 or buy one get one free as they are frequently priced. (that is to say, someone else is buying - not free actually)
So true. I've seen food stamp holders buying blue soda and Doritos at the end of the month just to empty the balance on their card. Who thought that kind of crap was nutritious enough to be covered by food stamps??
Damn, all in all that's a pretty lean existance. You should write a book on how to get by on that amount of income. If it weren't for all my toys and work ethic, it'd be interesting to try.
It is VERY difficult my family sends me a gift certificate for groceries every month that is pretty much how I eat.
