You have to say you are green as a marketing gimmick, whether you are or not.

Isn't that what you conservatives want? You love the free market so much. All I ever hear from you guys is that companies are around for one purpose - to make money. So until U.S. wages are on par with China's, companies are going to ship jobs to China. Ross Perot told the truth about that giant sucking sound. Why would anyone think any differently? The guy is a billionaire businessman. The system is rigged for the few. There used to be a day when people in this country had a sense of responsibility toward it. Not anymore.

Come to think of it, the bazillionaires ARE the job creators; they just didn't say WHERE the jobs would be, or what they would pay...

Weren't slave owners job creators too? What would all those slaves have done for employment if not for the slave owners? I detest the "job creator" label. They're wealth creators. Nothing wrong with that, but somehow the GOP is trying to brainwash people into thinking that creating jobs matters one bit to them. If they could make $1B without spending one penny on labor, they'd do it. Creating jobs and paying employees is a necessary evil they're trying to abolish.

    Crony Socialism

Obama Gives $737 Million to Solar Firm Linked to the Pelosi Clan

"It’s as if Solyndra never happened. The Obama Administration is giving $737 million to a Tonopah Solar, a subsidiary of California-based SolarReserve. PCG is an investment partner with SolarReserve. Nancy Pelosi’s brother-in-law happens to be the number two man at PCG."

"..Team Obama is spending $737 million to create 45 permanent jobs...."( in Harry Reid's Nevada!)

    EDITORIAL: Obama’s crony capitalism
Friends of the president are given billions in government largesse

"Obamacare .............. Yet as soon as the law was implemented, hundreds of waivers were issued that allowed the recipients to duck under Obamacare requirements. The vast majority of recipients were labor-union chapters, large corporations, financial firms and local governments with strong Democratic connections. One in 5 waivers issued in April 2011 went to upscale nightclubs, bars and hotels in Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco district. Mr. Obama is not even covered by his own law...."

".....A CBS News investigation found that 80 percent of the $20.5 billion in Energy Department loans for “green†energy went to Mr. Obama’s top donors. The half-billion-dollar government loan guarantee to the bankrupt solar-panel company Solyndra is a model of Obama-style crony capitalism........
At the center of this sweetheart deal was oil billionaire and major Obama backer George Kaiser, whose family-foundation investment fund was a major stakeholder in Solyndra. The loan was rushed through despite warning flags that it was a risky investment. When failing Solyndra sought to restructure the loan, investors such as Mr. Kaiser were put ahead of taxpayers for recouping their investments. But unlike this insider, most taxpayers don’t enjoy “intoxicating†two-hour dinners in Las Vegas with Mr. Obama to discuss energy policy."

"................"Never in modern history has the U.S. government been used so extensively as a vehicle for benefiting political cronies at the expense of the rest of us. .............................†Given this administration’s rampant favoritism, special treatment and backroom deals, restoring fairness is a major argument against Mr. Obama’s re-election.

The right is all about free markets? That's precious!! The sooner you realize that there aren't two parties, the better off you'll be. There is one giant party and at no place on the bar whether left or right are they governing for you.

there are, but you have not identified them. i will. the are the "progressive party" and the "constitutionalist party"

the "progressive party" is made up almost entirely of democrats and republicans, while the "constitutionalist party" is really only a few republicans and most of the tea party.

i break the two down this way: is government a vehicle to solve every problem in society, or is government constrained in what it can do vis-a-vis the constitution? i obviously favor the latter; the former paves the way first to a soft tyranny, in which we now live, and ultimately in a dictatorship, and then ruin.
