I find it jarringly ironic that the people who have such a problem with this being the policy for public bathrooms are people who never go out in public anyway
A self deprecating atheist white liberal who honestly believes he and his opinions are unique. Whoa.
That affected fake accent...
I disagree with him on the bathroom issue but he seems like a pretty cool dude.
I don't think most people in favor of the bathroom law are worried about real transgendered people, they are worried about hetereosexusl perverts and deviants dressing up like women cruising the ladies rooms and the resulting privacy violations and sexual assaults.
Right... But that would happen with or without a law. A law wouldn't stop deviants like that.
Who gives a shit about who uses what bathroom. I don't even like using public bathrooms if I don't have too. I fucking hold it in the chamber the best I can until I get home.
I think we should get rid of handicap parking stalls imo
Agree to an extent, but it still makes it much easier for perverts to hang out and creep on potential victims.
Using your logic, a trans person can already just use the bathroom they look like making a special accomodation unnecessary in the first place.
of course you got people like Sandusky hanging around bathrooms. its a no win
I signed the petition the first I heard about it on Breitbart: www.afa.net
htf is anyone supposed to know whos trans or not.
bruce jenner looks like a typical old broad.
will nickole bass get booted from the ladys room?
Trans people have been around in public for a long time. If they're passable enough, I'm sure no one gives them a hard time. I think it's the ones who look like they could just be a creep who decided to put on women's clothing and hang out in the ladies room that most people are worried about. Like the guy in Curt Schilling's meme...
Exactly. In the case of Target stores specifically, and the way many of these California style laws are written generally, a guy doesn't have to be dressed in women's clothes in order to go waltzing into the ladies' locker room or bathroom. Any perv off the street has carte blanche access - and God help the fitness center who calls the cops on one of these gawkers.
exactly, i don't want to share a restroom with anyone.
Might be just a little embellished but not entirely fake. He's orignially from Celina Tennessee near Kentucky. So it's mostly real.
i once shared mall restroom with darth vader.
But that's what they're doing now, right? Pre-op man with boobs via hormones and wearing a dress is using the ladies room, right?
These laws are telling this person, (for arguments sake, let's call him/her "Caitlin") that they have to use the men's room while wearing that dress, correct? I don't think that's necessary.
I never really thought of this as a special accommodation thing, but whatever.
I can agree that when this happens in schools, it's all a bit screwy. A 7-year old boy should not all of a sudden decide to live as a female, for example. You need to be of a certain age to understand what the hell you're signing up for.
