Argo was so over-hyped, and I thought it was boring and predictable. Life of Pi is the best PG movie I've seen since I can remember. Watching the zebra die was hard, but the monkey was even worse. And the whole Richard Parker thing, remarkably well told story. Cinematography, there are no words - felt like you were there.

So I posted that before seeing the last 20 min of the movie. Glad no fictitious zebra or orangutan didn't get killed, ha. Great story though

Argo was almost as predictable as Apollo 13 . Stupid film writers .

So what are your thoughts on the ending? Is it up for interpretation? What do you think happened?

I think the human version was the real story. He turned a horrific story into an adventure to cope with it. He chose the more comforting story......the same way he believes in God.

I think he made the story about the animals up, and that they were all really people. I do believe, and such as

The movie was ok, but the scene where he forced his cabinet to get the last remaining votes was incredibly insightful. I always thought politicians back then dealt with a simpler world, and more easily passed legislation. Fuck no, Lincoln busted his fucking ass and WILLED things into happening

Life of Pi is about taking your worst experiences and turning them into something inspirational and positive
