    OK, I for one, am sick and tired of bullshit Mars news. I couldn't give a frogs fat ass about ancient water on Mars or some stupid rock analysis. Show me green people or STFU. So, having said that, I saw this article today:

    [h=1]Will NASA release Earth- ... er, Mars-shaking news?[/h]
    http://lightyears.blogs.cnn.com/2012/11/21/will-nasa-release-earth-er-mars-shaking-news/?hpt=hp_t2

    "This data is gonna be one for the history books. It's looking really good."

    This is going to be another giant letdown.

    You beat me to it. Both the British and American versions were great.

    too dangerous for human exploration early on. It'll be quite an honor for some lucky monkey to be the first to plant the stars and stripes on the Mars landscape

    I disagree. I thought the American version was terrible; at least the writing. The writing made the main character look like a complete imbecile.

    The dude went back in time ( to the 1970s) and encountered his (now-dead) mother and stupidly thought she'd recognize him. And the nimrod persisted, making a complete fool out of himself and not in a funny way; in a way that made the viewer shout at the screen "you're a fucking MORON! She doesn't know who you are!"

    GAH!
