Anybody catch, "Listen to Me Marlon" on Showtime? It's a documentary about Marlon Brando's life told primarily by himself, through many, many hours of self-recorded audio tape. This was really a fascinating story about Brandow's life, acting method, movie history, tragedies and social commitment. You can't really judge Brando in terms of western culture and psychological theories - due to his early life abuse, combined with Stella Adler's "Method" method, he took acting to a different place few have ever gone. Even if you only wondered why he sent that Indian chick up to collect his oscar in 1973 - this is well worth watching. One of the best documentaries I've ever seen. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4145178/ Howard related because someone will take all his tapes and edit them together to show what an asshole he was.
