Have invested in part ownerships of thoroughbred horses the past couple years. Some guys I played hockey with were into it, so naturally I had to follow haha. Not 100% ownership(expensive as hell) but small parts of an ownership syndication. Well just earlier now, I saw at Aqueduct, a longshot called Little Miss Lupe was running. I don't really gamble at all. Maybe about $80 for a day once or twice a month but I said screw it, I have to play it based on the show and put $10 to Win, Place and Show and a played a Trifecta with Lupe on top for a total of $46. Was 100% sure I was throwing away the money based on the horses ability. Well Little Miss Lupe won at 59-1. got back about $4,000 :cheer:

I will. If Dawg allows me too, I'll put up a lifetime for someone. I just have to transfer money over to my Paypal. Very rarely use it.

Congrats! What are the odds that Howig sues the ownership syndication, since he "discovered" Little Lupe? :wigtip: And, who's in your avatar?

The number one question I have got in PM's and in threads since I have got here. :snicker: She's a woman who runs/throws parties out in Vegas.

Strange. I would have expected the #1 question involved cock pics.

I figured you were gonna say you were traveling through Puerto Rico and the customs guys found some "child-porn" in your luggage. . . .

    :jj:

I'm totally lost when looking at horse-racing stuff. How much did you win in the end? The 12 grand?

    Win/place/show. . . . ugh, I have no idea what's going on.

I did read Bill Veeck's 40 Tons a Day, which was excellent, but he didn't really get into the tech-specs on the gambling.

Yeah that's how Lupe was found, right? Some guy got int trouble when they thought she was illegal?

No $12,000 was for the Superfecta(First through fourth). Got over $3,000 for Trifecta I played.(First ,second, third) and about just under a $1,000 for the Win, Place, Show bet.

For every $2 the Win paid $121.50. Place paid 38.60. Show paid $19.20.

    Nice bet, man.

I got a tip from a guy on a harness race at Freehold once. All I had with me was $120, so I put it all on. Paid out like $1600 after they took the tax out.

    Congrats, man.

When you realized you had the trifecta, did you shout out in a Spanish accent, "I like cock??"

Is there a place to check and see if there is a horse named "Beth Stern"?

Hey laser, give me a lifetime sub! I promise never to thank you or acknowledge even via PM that it happened, then claim 2 years down the road that I've been paying the whole time and don't know what you're talking about. Thanks bro.
