    I spent many summers as a kid in Franklin Square. Used to love riding my 80's mongoose bmx around exploring the neighborhoods and trying to find my way back home. Smoked my first cigarette, got in my first fight. The 4th of July fireworks were fucking spectacular; I haven't seen the like since.

    We used to drive out to Amityville and smoke pot in front of the horror house. It was a well used road though, so that was kind of sketchy!

    Actually that's a pretty quiet neighborhood outside of that particular block due to the horror house.

    Lots of houses though, and if i remember correctly, there is a block of shops at the corner that someone spray painted "Horoor House" on the side with an arrow pointing down.

    Does that make sense? It's been 25 years.
