    I think it was a great decade but looking back it is when the seeds of political correctness where planted. I believe the national seat belt laws went in to effect, M.A.D.D. became prominent, Baby seats in cars where becoming mandatory. The Jane Fonda work outs and everybody becoming health conscious and looking down your nose at people that didn't do the new diet or work out fad.

    Lots of fun nightclubs in that area in the 80's. The Hague, The Giraffe Lounge, CJ's, and The Baja Beach Club to name a few.

    That was a haaarrable time! Reagan the senile war monger was Pres. and everyone was racist, evil, and craved money.

    Not like today where we have a Nobel Peace Prize winning Pres. that brought the world together and ended all political fights because he taught everyone diversity and the meaning of coming together. This is a better world with no more wars or conflicts, and minorities are now inspired to rise above to new heights. :hippie:


    So lets return to that 7/11 and see how much things have improved! :usflag:

    The only thing I have to say about the 80s are the hairstyles and fashion.

    Specifically tight jeans and shorts for men. Thank God they never came back, oh wait.
