We just finished (for today) moving in to the new house. I was just about to hang the TV up on the wall when I noticed its tiny. This won't do. This one us going in the bedroom and maybe tonight we hit up Best Buy.

    What's good these days?

Hey, that's a Samsung funny man, it's just small. 32" was good enough fit the smaller place but its no good here

I bought my daughter a Visio. POS. We took it back, got a Philips that has been good.

You chose the size of the TV based upon the room. What's the viewing distance?

    [IMG][IMG]

Then stick with LED TVs. 240 Hz, 1080p.. Sharp, Samsung, Panasonic.. They are all good.. but do look different.. take time in the store and look at the picture and color on each TV before you pull the trigger.

I've got a couple of them, so far so good but not as good as a Samsung

the main issue is the refresh, when shit is moving around on the screen, like a basketball game

check out how it looks when the picture is in motion

Visio's are OK. We used them in our editing bay way back when

IDK what brand of TV we have at the house :wtf:

It's a 60" though which is good for an old person like me :)

Wow, you could stich two leather straps around both sides and wear that thing like a wrist watch.

Best Buy Jacks up the intensity on their TV's for display to make the picture jump out at you. Most places do. If you can get your hands on a remote, go into the menu and set the TV for "normal" viewing or default, whatever that is called on that particular set.

NEVER pick a TV by the picture in the store. They've all been tweaked for exposure under those massive fluorescents :hat:
