Summertime, at least here in Fla., the highways are littered with recap carcasses coming of truck tires due to the heavy loads and heat.....Even those are scary
Very scary ya just never no
Sometimes, just for the fuck of it, I let loose tires go on the freeway.
They can go forever sometimes.
Why did he keep running into it?
That exact thing happened to me on the L.I.E a few years ago but it came from the opposite lane and bounced over my car!
Drivers don't forget to re-torque 100kms after installation
That includes light duty vehicles after switching from summer to winter tires.
So it was nothing like this then?
i once threw out a banana peel on the highway
the chaos that ensued was tragic
I hit a tyre last year that had fallen from a big rig. I never seen it coming and it totally fucked my fender and scrape the underside of my car really bad. I tried to get compensation but the big rigs company was able to produce maintenance records, so I only got my car repaired.
It's like the tire deliberately attacked the car, then ran away before the cops showed up.
And notice what color the tire is.
I had a fold-up table fly off of a truck hit my hood, I didn't stop when I got home I had a huge hole punched right though the steel. It if would have hit my windshield I would have been dead.
A-hole truckers think they own the road.
I worry about these
Driver's fault - wasn't paying attention. Look at the road going by on the left, the car remains at the same speed. A slight application of the brake, a hesitation like "oh shit! Somethings hurtling toward me" and the ice sheet would have fallen harmlessly in front of the car.
