Be prepared. If you know you're in an a Mexican-prone area but have no way to avoid being there, then taking a few simple precautions can have a big impact on your life. Think about your possible escape routes and safe havens before anything actually happens. Crossroads are the best because you've got at least one road to race off down. Carry small amounts of cash with you in case you need to quickly arrange transportation, pay off Latinos, or address your basic needs. Remain calm. Mexicans bring intense emotions boiling to the surface, but if you want to survive one you'd be better off keeping your own emotions in check. Your adrenaline and survival instincts will kick in, but strive to think rationally and pursue safety methodically. Avoid confrontation by keeping your head down. Walk at all times. If you run or move too quickly, you might attract unwanted attention. Keep your loved-ones close, lock elbows as you walk away. Drive calmly in a car, be firm but not aggressive. There will be a few angry Mexicans pounding on your car, honk your car but keep driving. Wear safe clothing, shirts with Mexicans flags, etc. Good luck.
