On The Show today Louis said he has a new show Horace and Pete available on his website (PPV). Has anyone seen this yet?

I gave up on his FX Show a few seasons ago because it just wasn't funny.

I really liked his old show. A bit dark but funny. Haven't seen the new one though.

IMHO, it's lousy. I mean I guess I can see the artsy production value in it, but it's not for me. It's like watching a live depressing play. He needs to stick to his wheelhouse- raunchy shit.

I know this is not thread related, but is it worth watching Curb YOur Enthusiasms from the beginning or Deadwood?

I couldn't believe the turn he has made from very funny comedian to super serious playwright. Horace and pete is very sad and the ending is devastating. It has stuck in my mind for days, brilliant acting, very engrossing kind of show/play ,but not in any way a comedy, it's so different from anything I would normally get into, it's deeply affected me, and I liked Louie but that wasn't a comedy either.Well worth staying through the last episode, it's a kind of masterpiece. He got Steven Wright and David Blaine in it..both their voices give me the asmr, so I was in heaven, also the Paul Simon theme music is very beautiful. If you're not feeling too depressed give it your attention, the one take long scenes are cool.

Not funny. Just fucking depressing. I get that he is going for that honesty thing, but no fucking laughs.

I used to hear about how great his F/X show was, so I DVR'ed it. I watched a few, lost interest and deleted it. It was boring. I thought he was going for some kind of Woody Allen thing, but it just never worked. Won't watch any of his shows.

Deadwood is a should see and Curb Your Enthusiasm is a must see.

The last season of Louie's show was so heavy on pathos that I stopped looking forward to it, I really don't care for his artistic trajectory

as a guest he is kind of boring and I fast forward through sections his interviews to see if there is anything interesting or funny.

But his show , Louie on FX is amazing, love the last episode with Florintine and the quick cameo of Artie as the truck driver.

And Howard is a huge star fucker. Louis was on maybe summer of 2006 but didn't come back till maybe 2012 or 2013.
That's when his show was winning awards and very popular before then Howard didn't care about him, now he is having dinner with Louis.
Get famous then Howard cares about you

Also if Artie was clean and had his shit together, he could be doing as well as Louis CK
