I kinda worked myself into it, many years ago, but it takes a little effort, and I haven't done it in a long time. It's a remarkable experience when it happens, though.

It worked a couple of times for me, but I got too excited about it and woke up. I imagine it can be very very cool once you get the hang of it.

Exactly. It takes practice and discipline and I'm lazy. And yes the excitement often woke me up, too. I've forgotten exactly where I learned about it, but I used to attempt to read a lot of Jung....I do beleive lucid dreaming can be a powerful and effective way to correct a lot of psychological issues, "overnight", literally and figuratively....I probably need to get back into it.

Yeah I like the ability to realize it and wake up and end it though.

Kinda the definition though. To be consciously in control. I create intense scenarios.

Ah, yeah, I see what you mean now...At first I thought you meant, like many times when I became aware that I was lucid dreaming, I would wake up immediately, which was not what I wanted to do...

Yes it's very cool. I have dabbled a little with it for around 12 years now. A friend turned me on to it. It's a very interesting subject :hat:

Alcohol withdrawals create some pretty intense lucid dreaming but its very painful and sometimes when your chasing giant floating orbs around the room you slam into a wall and it wakes you up

Quite often Im aware that Im dreaming and it makes a guy pretty fearless in the dreams and jumping off cliffs and shit is pretty damn fun.
I believe you dont really get a good nights sleep when in this mode, though

I do it... but definitely do not get a good nights sleep. Have to choose your moments.

It's funny that you mention that. Yesterday I got pretty hammered and I did get some very clear and intense dreams that night.
