    Crazy person

trying to stip travel by proving that rogue pilots can kill people.

Didn't want to wait until he found a target because maybe the copilot could call someone and get the door unlocked from the ground.

There could have been two officers in the cabin or an officer and a stewardress but something could have happened to knock them both out.

Nothing happens, the copilot gets back in because the door should have been set to normal so he could get in with a code, it was set to locked so there was no way for him to get back in.

The plane is on auto pilot. A copilot would not go out during a descent in the middle of a flight.

Posted this in the other thread but I'll repeat myself anyways...

    Remember this one....

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EgyptAir_Flight_990

Co pilot waits for captain to use lavatory, then says "Tawkalt ala Allah," and nosedives. Captain gets back in tries to pull up but...

The Airfrance flight that went into the ocean 30 min after take off, was totally due to inexperienced copilot error and bad cockpit communication
The cockpit recordings/data of that flight are unbelievable
    Could be a similar thing.

AirBus is a European Consortium formed by several European GOVERNMENTS.
Their expressed purpose was to put Boeing out of business in Europe.

I have a flight next week to Seattle on an A318.

    Not looking forward to it.
What gives me a measure of confidence is that US based Cockpit Crews are far more reliable in the event of equipment issues.
I'll say this for the NTSB, they are probably the most valuable Government Agency in the US.

AirBus makes the most dangerous planes in the sky.
    http://www.airsafe.com/events/models/rate_mod.htm

When you look at these numbers and realize that AirBus has only been around for a relatively short time, the number of fatal events is downright scary.

    He couldn't re-enter the cockpit?

Tell me about it. Try a card and some champagne.
