This is a tough one to call.

The original is a seriously popular cult classic movie.

They've got their work cut out for themselves.

Having Charlize Theron as a main character scares me a bit. Not sure how she fits in to something like this, not to mention I think she's sporting a buzz cut....

Rule 1 in movie making, don't make women who are known for playing hot, sexy characters - play an ugly chick. Think about it.... it's an incredibly stupid thing to do.

Ask Demi Moore. I'm sure she'll have a lot to say about this subject.

I am of a strong mind that Hollywood is out of ideas.

But my ass will be in a theater seat this year for two things - Star Wars and Mad Max.

    Nerd boner for those.

Don't recall the last time I was in a theater.

Why are they paying homage to Mels movies? Is this going to be a continuation of the other movies by this being his son? Or will this be another retelling of the old story like the Batman remakes?

i'll for sure see it, but have no idea if this has got any meat on its bones. it sure has seemed to be in production limbo for a loooonnnngggg time. if they really had something other than a demolition derby/burning man mashup, seems it would have been made a few years ago

Why don't they try making something original? Nah, to much work.
