Good god. I Can't recall a bigger ass kissing fest throughout the staff. You'd think Jesus Christ himself was coming in
Not to take anything away from her career, which has been pretty phenomenal by any objective standard, but she really did come across as utterly humorless in the interview.
She is...she's been giving interviews all over the place...Stern shouldn't feel so flattered...she has literally been giving interviews to anyone that will listen.
Almost every "celebrity" that comes on Stern's show in the last few years is on a celebrity interview junket. The same celebrity will be on Kimmel, Letterman, Today, Kelly & Michael, etc, ad naseum. There are no special "gets" for Stern's show these days. He nor Gary did anything to "get" the celebrity. The agent or PR firm called them. It's simply the NYC publicity tour that all visiting celebrities use from media agents. The same media agents who still think Stern has millions of listeners. You can track all of them here: http://www.nycgo.com/articles/tv-show-tapings
I know its impossible but Martha Quinn was more annoying on the wrap up show then robin was during the actual interview. She would not shut up and was constantly stepping on other people talking. Plus she was kissing ass beyond reason.
not only was he pathetically groveling at her feet, she really seemed bored and disinterested just about the entire time... like she REALLY didn't want to be there, talking to THEM...
was thinking the same thing. she did it because, lets face it her fans are over 40 years old. kids are not and will not buy her music. so she is limited to where she can hawk her album.
