    You're welcome. :D

I've only seen the first episode. I can't wait to see more. I love that Manitowoc accent.

Ive watched it - I'm not sure where they were going after the first episode. His jailing for the initial crime was indeed wrong but the film makers seemed to paint him in a saint like way rather than the complete piece of shit he and his family really was. They were all incestuous criminal outcasts that did everything to be bad people.

There is no doubt he killed that girl, and while the police were certainly inept and corrupt in their dealings and prosecution - are they really trying to say the cops killed that girl, chopped her up, and put her remains in the burn pit?

Very fucked up case. The key lookalike it was planted. The forced confession of the 16 year old was heartbreaking. They didn't even have an adult present since he was underage. They never looked at anyone else like the victim's brother, roommate or ex. Very fishy

I agree 100%, they key was planted. the cops were as bad as the criminal in this case, I just cant agree with the way the makers tried to paint the Avery's in such a saintly way.

The family was definitely not right and I'd bet that there was a lot of cousin-on-cousin action going on.

The issue I have is that it really did look like they planted that evidence and that should have been enough to get him off. There were far too many failures in this case. Even if he was guilty, it's a scary thought knowing that cops can setup someone up because the think that they are the murdered. I'm sure in the DAs mind Steve was guilty so he hardened his case by altering evidence.

The town and cops were facing a huge lawsuit and possible jail time. By putting Avery in jail it took away the clout he had to proceed. Avery should of moved away to a different state until the lawsuit was over.

    Great documentary.

    He was railroaded both times.
Wisconsin is truly a seriously corrupt State.
