Since Mammary Lane allows the fans to pick their favorite moments it's interesting to see the selections so far this week. Very few star-fucking interviews, mostly seemingly spontaneous interactions with callers and staff (although we now know some were scripted), and nothing newer than January 2008 (when Howard had met all his Sirius incentive clauses and stopped putting in any effort). The Stern Show of today is completely different from what the fans prefer. The long drawn-out boring interviews he does almost every day are clearly meant to position Howard for his own TV show and get him some headlines. The interactions with callers and staff are obviously screened, pre-planned, and rehearsed. Robin and Howard dominate the conversations with their loony idiotic opinions and the show really suffers without a third person to balance them out. Most of the staff members who were talented and entertaining are long gone and the comedy element has been completely eliminated. Howard has said he doesn't care what the fans like, only what HE likes and he proves it every day.
