http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crime/man-captures-attempted-robbery-gopro-camera-article-1.1942881 A tourist's GoPro camera captured the entire incident when a robber tried to steal his backpack at gunpoint. Alexander Hennessy was riding his bicycle with the small camera attached to his helmet in Buenos Aires when a man on a motorcycle drove into his path in the bike lane. Hennessy first drove around him, but the robber then drove up next to him, pulled a gun out of his jacket and demanded his backpack, In the video, Hennessy tried to explain he did not speak Spanish and repeatedly called the robber "amigo" in attempts to calm him down. But the robber persisted and kept demanding he give over his "mochila," the Spanish word for backpack. He then jumps off his bicycle — offering it to the robber and then tries to run away on foot. The robber runs after him and presses him against the fence — continuing to demand the backpack as Hennessy holds him back with his hand. I miraculously happened to be recording with a GoPro on my forehead and captured this amazing piece of footage! Eventually he runs away as members in his group come to assist him and return his bicycle. One leads them to a nearby police officer so they can tell him what happened. After finding a police officer, Hennessy begins to relax and then starts to laugh. "I filmed that entire thing on my GoPro right now," he told the group.
