I operate a drone for work sometimes. Expensive production drone with super nice camera. It's awesome and a total blast to fly and record with. Clients shell out big money for use to use it in their productions.

I also feel like a complete asshole when I fly it over the public and I see them looking at it with disdain. I never get it low enough to unwilling participants that they could hit it with a thrown baseball much less a t-shirt but if someone did I would totally understand. Wouldn't be happy about it, but I would understand.

I have a DJI Phantom 2. It's a super fun toy and I use it to take great aerial landscapes near my house. The claims that the drones will be used to spy on people are horseshit, they're louder than a weed-wacker and have flashing lights. Plus, the cameras are better for landscapes, my wife flashed her titties for the drone out the window and they came out very crappy, 1080P or no, and my wife's titties are magnificent.

As the child of a pilot, though, I agree there need to be criminal penalties for jagoffs flying drones around airports.

These things are like the awesomest RC car you ever owned. My kids love the drone.

Was it here that I saw an eagle catch a drone and bring it to it's nest? I just saw it somewhere and it was cool!

these people are being too low tech: you can commandeer the current drones with a smartphone.

Watch this drone being live hacked

How easy would it be to remotely take over a drone? Annual hacker conference DEF CON has just proved that all you need is a Wi-Fi connection and a bit of ingenuity.

A demonstration by Ryan Satterfield, from information security company Planet Zuda, sees him hack a Parrot AR drone -- one of the most popular versions currently on the market -- by using Wi-Fi to connect to an unsecured network port on the craft. Using a straightforward text command, he then sends the drone hurtling to the ground, making it all look disconcertingly easy.

    a solution for every problem

    http://www.jammerfromchina.com/prod...e_Control_Signal_Jammer_50_Meters_Radius.html

this 433MHz RF jammer owns powerful jamming radius as the jamming radius is up to 50 meters in blocking all the 433MHz remote controllers such as the 433MHz car remote controllers, the garage remote controllers, the TV remote controllers, the surveillance system remote controllers ect. And as now more and more Kymera Magic Wand, Lehman Aviation LFPV UAV and the ReconRobotics Recon Scout XT are being used to monitor people or risking their privacy, if so just possessing this 433MHz remote control signal jammer the risk can be easily removed if the remote controllers’ signals are 433MHz.

you dont need a dedicated jammer for that frequency: a CB radio will do it for less and with more power (also the sparkplug from a car will do the same)
