    A mother and her boyfriend have been charged with duct-taping her four-year-old daughter’s hands and leaving her in a dark basement in a bin bag.

    Crystal Jedrzejek, 31, and her partner Khristopher Newman, 34, from Pennsylvania, allegedly left the girl in the unheated basement as punishment for soiling herself on November 16.

    The four-year-old girl was taken to hospital with face, head and body injuries and suffered liver trauma.

    Police had reportedly gone to their house to investigate child abuse when the pair were arrested.

    Jedrzejek, who told police the child was injured when she fell in the bathtub, is now facing child corruption and disorderly conduct charges while Newman is also charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.

    The girl’s mother maintains that Newman was behind the punishment and wrote on Facebook: ‘This man [Newman] did this to my daughter! I was not around when things were being done and my children have told the police I was not there when he did this to her

    Did no one see that the girl soiled herself? How else do you suggest correcting her actions?


    I am in a hotel and a couple talking about the San Bernadino incident pointed out this AM that the shooters "only got off 75 rounds" and the police shot at them with "300 rounds" suggesting that the police were excessive.
