Ugh. He was actually fine, but that looks like a movie NO ONE wants to see. And all he looked like was his own father. Also, is that other guy typecast forever as a doctor?
A black guy typecast as a doctor? Sounds like an affirmative action hire.
Actually pretty good impression of him.
How badly do think they will water him down? By the time this movie is over he will be as edgy as Paul Rudd.
Damn, not a bad job by Marlon.
Actually it looks as if they went the other way. Excising all traces of humor and leaving only pain. It seems like a depressing movie of the week.
What will Steve Harvey have to say about this? Considering that his entire look, delivery, and mannerisms are directly copied from Pryor, wouldn't he be the natural fit for this role? This would be particularly beneficial if they are trying to make a serious biopic, as Harvey would have no issues with being completely unfunny.
that was pretty bad. doesn't have any of the beat to pryor at all
Just because you can bug your eyes out and say "shit" after each sentence it doesn't make you Richard Pryor.
I really thought Marlon was a good choice when casting rumors were floating.
Can't imagine Epps will do any better of an impression or mannerisms.
