    Did anyone watch last night?

I liked it, despite the political bias. Rosie O' Donnell (formerly known as "Lou Costello head" and "fat pig" on the Stern show) had to chip in her two cents on Donald Trump, calling him an "orange slug".

Overall though, it stayed true to the original game from the 70's, and there was a good amount of sexual innuendo in the questions. Debra Messing looked good, would bang. I'm not sure if it's being filmed in New York or California, but it seems to me it would be a great opportunity for Wiggy or Beth to be a guest panelist (unless they're afraid of showing their true stupidity)

This has to be killing Howard. Aside from radio it's the only job he ever wanted.

    I know.

When he took AGT, I just shook my head in amazement at the stupidity of it. A game show was perfect for him: easy schedule, full production staff with little for him to do and lots and lots of exposure. His experience on the HSS made him perfect for a game show. Then again, his experience on the HSS made him perfect to be a judge of lame talent and he turned out to be a dud - just terrible on air. Maybe he just should have stayed home and have Ralph shave his belly.

Don't forget the marbles. These are the exact reasons Howard has given in the past for wanting the job.

The Michael Strahan thing must be driving him nuts. Expect some "What is he a Jamaican with all these jobs?" jokes if Howard is ever honest enough to bring the subject up.

As marble hungry as Howard is, I don't think it was a high priority for taken the AGT gig. He just signed a new contract with Sirius that he obviously hated (I think they knew he had no other offers and cut his money greatly) and tried to sue them. He wanted out of there while waving his middle finger at them and AGT was suppose to be the train that allowed him to do that.

I think this was the "dream job" he was presented with while he was in negotiations with Sirius. Money was probably far less than AGT (Baldwin donating his salary to charity) so he said no way

I think this really dilutes Alec's acting brand.

But I bet he's a great host--he's got the quick mind, humor, and snark for it!!!

Will have to catch it sometime.

In the interest of complete transparency, ABC has been very precise in stating that Baldwin is donating his "appearance fee", not his salary, to the wife's charity. I seem to recall Baldwin mentioning on his last visit on the THSS - when he couldn't yet reveal the specific show - that he's been fully involved in this project from its inception in some sort of executive producer capacity as well. So that's likely where he's making the real money.

I guess a game show host is nice work if you can get it, but I can't help thinking this is a big come down for Baldwin. I kind of feel sorry for him in a way.

He does one of the funniest Charles Nelson Reilly impressions ever. It would have been hysterical if he was a guest instead of host and he did the CNR impersonation the whole show.

He's a dickheads in real life, but I've always loved his film work. He's appeared in a dude or two, but I've never seen him give a bad performance. Being a game show host is a waste of his talents. I understand why he's doing it, easy money, easy gig, works close to home, can spend more time with the wife and kid, etc. Who wouldn't take that job? Still, it's a shame he tarnishing his acting band doing it.
