OK so we want to put a spiral staircase in our house but when we hired the guy (negro of course) he couldn't make it work out right. I don't have the actual measurements, but there must be a mathematical way to figure it out, right? We want the stairs to make 1 3/4 turn (ie, one full and one 3/4 turn)

I don't have the measurements but there must be some formula, right? I'm thinking it depends on the width of each stair (how many stairs to form one complete circle) and the space between the steps

of course you can figure it out mathematically...not enough info given....also either the man is a carpenter or he is not.....a spiral stair case is kinda hard to do ...unless your a carpenter ...then its easy

I'll get them to measure it again in the morning but it's around 11'6" I think. I want the top stair to meet the tile upstairs exactly And I think Bye You is right but this is confounding me

We were going with wrought iron and he welded it/took it apart 6 times before we told him goodbye. Now we got the carpenter on it I just want to see if we can figure this out
