Win for Mayweather. Maidana is very good, but Mayweather will do his usual, stay away, use his speed and box. Unless Mayweather traps himself on the ropes and lets Maidana beat him up, 12 round decision for Mayweather. Maidana will chase Mayweather around the whole fight.

I would love to see Mayweather get KTFO but it's not going to happen. He will back up and back up and shoulder roll and avoid 99% of everything Maidana throws, and the 1% that hits will be glancing blows that won't hurt. Maidana will get tired of constantly coming forward, throwing tons of punches and hitting nothing.

It will go to the cards after 12 and Mayweather will be way ahead, likely winning every round.

Maidana's only should is a one-hit knockout, but he has about a 0.0001% chance of that happening.

Mayweather will win this because there is no one yet with his level of technique, but also with one punch KO power. Being fast and strong isnt enough against someone as technical as him. You need to match his technique, and while you may not even be able to match his speed even at his older age, the one punch KO power will alter his game.

However paying 50+ dollars for one match? Unless im having 10 friends over and were all pitching in, fuck that. Sadly UFC is adopting this moneymaking, greedy philosophy and is staging similar 1 fight plus pure garbage type of cards.

Mayweather just pulled Maidana's entire camp aside and told them there's no way he's fighting unless Maidana changes gloves (apparently padding has been stripped):

Floyd won, but barely... I actually had it a draw, but there was a round that could have gone to Floyd. But the judge that had him ahead 9-3? Bullllllshit.

Had it at a draw myself as did the one sane judge I believe. Either way like all of his fights it was boring. I think the one punch knockout is the only way to beat this guy. He is too good at running and gets affirmative action judging.

Much as I dislike Floyd's attitude, it's only fair to give the champ the benefit of the doubt when a round is close on a 10 point must system... but the thing with Floyd is that he is really hard to hit so it's unlikely someone will ever get him on a 12-round decision because they just won't land enough. I agree with you - the way to beat Floyd is with a power puncher who will keep coming and coming like they just don't give a shit. Maidana *almost* pulled it off. But I would like to see Gennady Golovkin fight Mayweather @ 154lbs. Or after seeing Shawn Porter beat the fuck out of Pauli Malignaggi, I'd like to see Porter vs Mayweather @ 147.

People are talking about Matthysse or Amir Khan vs Mayweather.. honestly, neither of those guys would get it done. Matthysse would be no different than Maidana (same thing but worse result) and Amir Khan would get schooled and lose a decision if he was lucky enough not to get KO'd.
