Remember this thread? As most of us here at the shed predicted, all-day breakfast was a disaster. You start out by only having parts of the menu then trying to hide it, this is what you end up with.

OAK BROOK, Ill. (CBS St. Louis) – Some McDonald’s franchisees around the country are saying the launch of all-day breakfast has been no picnic.

In a new survey, franchisees report having slower service, lower average ticket costs, and more chaos in the kitchen, according to Business Insider.

“In small stores, the problems are vast with people falling over each other and equipment jammed in everywhere,” one of the survey responses read.

“All-day breakfast is a non-starter. We are trading customers down from regular menu to lower-priced breakfast items. Not generating new traffic,” another employee reported.

Nearly a dozen stores reported that the latest move from the company slows down service and adds complexity to work order.

“Customers are abandoning us in droves because we are either too slow, or sub-par quality,” one location wrote.

Employees also report confusion among customers as the breakfast items offered on the all-day menu vary by location. Some are saying the menu launch has even added extra labor.

“Unfortunately, with the current labor pool in our area, we are struggling to have enough people to run the shift, much less add an extra person,” one franchisee said in the survey.

The survey, conducted by Nomura analyst Mark Kalinowski, evaluated 29 franchisees covering 226 of the 14,000 restaurants in the U.S.

The company made its decision to launch the all-day breakfast menu after it tested well among customers regionally. The move is considered part of McDonald’s efforts to boost business following sales declines over the last seven quarters.

Business Insider reached out to McDonald’s but has not yet received comment regarding the survey.

That article does convey they are trying to shift blame to a myriad of factors other than the obvious one which is ain't nobody got time for their reduced B.S. menu. Notice it isn't even mentioned until near-the bottom of the article.

I might've stopped in for the first time in over a decade the other day to get me a goddamn sausage biscuit or a McGriddle... but of course I can't get those after 10a.m. still.

Correct, they still cannot admit the obvious. People are sick and tired of these companies cutting corners.

It's not just the breakfast, McDonalds in general is really screwed up lately. The menu board at the drive-through doesn't include many of the items and it's especially hard to figure out if they're still serving some of the limited-time specialties. Our local one had a big sign advertising the "Steakburgers" they've been serving for a few months but they weren't listed on the menu board. When I asked if they were still available, none of the employees knew. Finally gave up and ordered something else and that took forever to be prepared.

McDonald's is terrible any time of the day. Stop with the re-inventing yourself shit already. How about you make food that actually tastes good? Ya know, like you used to, and you became very popular. Green hamburger meat, and two almost microscopic onions on top, that I can still taste four fucking days later?

Spot on. They make it complicated then blame the customer.

A simple menu and good food is all you need. Msdonalds has neither.

I hit the McDonald's drive-thru for breakfast in the afternoon a week ago. They had 3 cars in the "drive up and wait" spots and one of them got frustrated and peeled out of the lot before they even got their food.

Related News: I had McDonald's breakfast twice today. :golfclap:

McDonalds seems rudderless. It's like they are making up shit as they go along and have no vision (which is probably true). They are playing catch-up to other fast food places and that was never the case.

Maybe these McDonalds shoudl gladly pay $15 an hour. They wouldn't have so much constant turnover and would have a well establish staff that could run an operation better.

    -Big Mac
    -1/4 pounder
    -mcnuggets
    -ONE kind of chicken sandwich
    - ONE special sandwich every once in awhile ie: McRib
    -Fries

That's it. No salads, wraps, any other BS.
