Sounds a bit like Aldo. Guess the Irishman will just jump up to 170 and get lawler, he's too dumb to be scared
JUST COPY AND PASTE THE ARTICLE YOU FUCKING FAG
i as looking forward to watching it illegally
Me too. The only thing periscope seems to be good for.
N Diaz i like that idear.
Apparently Aldo turned down the fight...not enough time. Rumors that Anthony Pettis may take the fight.... that'd be great. Or Cowboy. Frankie Edgar is also out.
Me too...if there were more time. The smack talk woukd be insane.
i would like to see Cowboy take him on and if Mcgregor is so fucking sure of himself ... have him sign off so that Cowboy doesn't have to cut weight
i follow her on periscope
but Diaz doesn't stand a chance against him
then you are no homo
Idk about that. Nate destroyed Cowboy. He's fought at 170. Connor may be biting off more than he can chew moving up.
The Cowboy fight would be at 155.
Can't give Pettis the fight coming off of his shit performance against Alvarez.
Cerrone or Diaz make the most sense, but would both likely need to be at a catchweight due to short time frame and the UFC's recent encouragement of fighters competing at their natural weight.
Cowboy would be my bet, just due to the fact that they would prefer to have a bigger lead up to a McGregor/Diaz fight so they could trash talk and get into all variety of minor skirmishes.
They could also make an interim title fight between Alvarez, Ferguson, or Nurmagomedov, but Alvarez would seem to be the bet here as Ferguson lacks the credentials for a title fight and Khabib is soft as shit and who knows when Ramadan is.
The most likely scenario might be for Edgar to take the fight at 155 lbs. and guarantee himself a title shot at 145 or 155 if he wins.
There's a million different scenarios they could take, including pulling McGregor from the card altogether. I'm thinking that's unlikely though, from the amount of Micks that would cancel their travel plans if he pulled out.
Look for McGregor's reps to hold out for more money, regardless of whatever fight he takes.
It'll be an interesting next 24 hours or so.
Let Frankie kick the shit out of him. why not?
Edgar has reportedly turned it down. And styles make fights. Pettis vs McGregor would be epic stand up. I agree it'd be a reward after the dud vs Eddie, but I think that fight would be the most exciting of the three.
Personally I think they should move it to a championship 145 fight... RDA vs Connor made sense, champ vs champ...anything short of a championship fight....ehhh, why?
Takes 50 tries to make any good fight these days it's really fucking annoying
Edgar wasn't offered because he's hurt, otherwise I'm sure he'd jump at it. Aldo turned it down because he's a soft Brazilian and his coaches say he couldn't be ready in time. Diaz says McGregor needs to beg him because he's a fucking idiot who vastly overestimates his worth.
On a positive note, McGregor reportedly doesn't care who he fights and isn't going to hold the company ransom. Cerrone is reportedly the frontrunner and just waiting for the official go ahead. He's currently at 174 lbs. and said he would get down as low as he could.
God, isn't it fun when guys are willing to fight across multiple weight classes.
Frankie really has no luck. I just read he did turn it down because he is injured. That sucks.
