Meadow - a professional solicitor and unassociated with the grimness of the family ; Anthony , a wise guy with street credit by family association alone .

AJ probably turned out like DeNiro's character in Mean Streets. Meadow, Outback waitress.

It would be interesting to see how they all end up after Tony was killed.

Have you seen all of the old movies coming to the theaters this year from TCM? Spartacus, the original Planet of the Apes and a bunch of other cool stuff.

I don't know if I have said this before (probably have) but the local theater chain here did a bunch of Alfred Hitchcock ones a long time ago and I got to see Vertigo and North by Northwest on the big screen. It was wonderful.

I went to every night of a complete Cassavetes retrospective about five years ago. It was heaven for me because I'm a big b-b-big f-*snort*-fan.

one of our locals did it too but the turnout was low so they stopped. i saw Casablanca, Taxi Driver, Clockwork Orange and a few others. i'm hoping TCM money is keeping things afloat this time

They're not for everybody. I generally tell people to start with A Woman Under the Influence, and not to expect a tight story so much as great, weird, emotional acting.
