The only way Howard will fit with Netflix is if he pays his $7.99 per month like the rest of us.

Mel left Sirius in 2012 "to pursue other interests."

Reminds me of Howard leaving AGT in 2015 to "explore opportunities."

I guess Buchwald is desperate and decided to call in a favor with Karmazin to get some press about Stern maybe leaving his Sirius job. Fat chance! Stern has zero juice left and it would be ludicrous to think he would be ideal for Netflix or Apple. It would mean stern would have to actually do some work to get things off the ground with any new format, and as any long time listener knows, that isn't happening anytime soon:bethsucks:

    "I think Howard loves money..."

"I don't mean that in a pejorative way." The first thing I thought of was Tom using that word during the intern prank. Ni.. Ni.. That does not compute!!

It's getting to be crunch time with the negotiations. Watch him bring up all the movies and TV shows he's been offered.

Well, it's not the greatest sell job by Mel because where's the comment about Howchie being one of the greatest celebrity interviewers of all time? I thought it was a requirement if you are going to praise PC Wigster this day and age?

Karmazin has a lot of nerve mentioning "Howard Stern" and "content" in the same breath. 12 hours a week and reruns, negro please....

The same Mel Karmazin who John Malone sent packing the second Liberty Media took over Sirius because Karmazin almost drove the company into bankruptcy with stupid celebrity contracts? That Mel Karmazin?

Howard got fired by Simon. "Did not perform as expected"

He has to be wondering how thin the ice is at Sirius.

Karmazin doesn't see why Apple wouldn't just buy Sirius? Maybe because Apple is about trying to start technology trends not buy companies that are part of a dying technology trend.
