    Okay, yes, it's Michael Moore.

But this is exactly what I've been thinking for the past year...

It's that Trump never really wanted to be President and got into the race to simply improve his brand for negotiating with the networks, then struck a nerve with voters

Now, he's kind of stuck with running for a job he really doesn't want.

Is it fact? Who knows? But it oddly makes a lot of sense. I think it's a pretty valid theory.

From the article: "Donald Trump never actually wanted to be President of the United States. I know this for a fact. I’m not going to say how I know it. I’m not saying that Trump and I shared the same agent or lawyer or stylist or, if we did, that that would have anything to do with anything. And I’m certainly not saying that I ever overheard anything at those agencies or in the hallways of NBC or anywhere else. But there are certain people reading this right now, they know who they are, and they know that every word in the following paragraphs actually happened."

I've said this since the start
I think he wanted to bow out before it got to crazy so he could take the high road and say "see if I was president this wouldn't of happened". And then things got crazy and he had no choice

In a way like Howard running for mayor of New York

Oh...you've been thinking. Because nobody noticed ten people posting the same thing in every trump thread for the past 3 months.

I love the masturbatory fantasy of this, but Trump has been way too consistently political over the last eight years (hell, you can hear him advocating the same platform 30 years ago) for this to come out of left field. Its impossible to know what's going through Trump's head, but he's a good enough businessman not to follow up a minor loss (his NBC deal) with an even larger one (millions of his own money and burning all his bridges on the left).

interesting. I like to think of him more like this:

I would still vote for him just because the status quo government is not functional anymore.

I think he wants to win. But he does not give a fuck about the office or running it.

I do think he is seriously considering bowing out, and Priebus and the RNC may give him that chance as they just got a memo from 50 Republican leaders/former leaders saying "take the cash from the Burning Dumpster and put it into the down ballot tix"----- Give him a big check, thank him for his service, and send him to Siberia to hang with his boyfriend, Putin.

Trump's string of bankruptcies clearly demonstrate that he's not afraid to cut his losses. As a business major, he's also no doubt familiar with the sunk cost fallacy.

Let's be honest: Michael Moore is just wrong on this one.

He lost me when he said he has a stylist. If he's going to lie about that, who knows what he'd lie about.

I don't know about the running for a bigger pay check from cbs, but! I believe he ran for Potus as a lark, he never thought he would get nominated, hell would someone would said Clinton would make a good president 8 years ago honestly think they could run against that same person and not have his past baggage brought up? I think this all great to proportions he never thought possible, and how foolish do the people who voted for him feel after all this? I have some friends who are normally very smart and in tuned people who are gungho Trumps supporters, I just can't imagine their thinking!

The Republicans had this election in the bag but this clown Trump threw a monkey wrench in the works. The next three months are going to be interesting.
