Mike F and Mad Dog had brief reunion today on Mad Dog's show - good stuff. Went back into their old ways like they never had split. They were plugging a big reunion show at Radio City in March for charity. Maybe a precursor to them teaming back up?

Lots of big guests - they need to get Sour involved.

They need to hook up as partners and Rock the Tri State Area like they use to. I always liked the way Mad dog says Dallas and Baltimore. Can he butcher them two words.

One of the shows on MDR has a montage of every word he mispronounces - it's so funny.

Mad Dog is obnoxious as fuck. It was always funny to me the way Francesa would call him "dog" in the middle of serious arguments though :jj:

One-shot reunion for charity is great. Permanent reunion? Doubtful. Their egos won't allow it. Supposedly FAN was thinking about finding A new partner for Mike when Doggy first split. Then they realized Mike's ratings didn't change much, decided to let him remain as a solo act.

they are the best when they are together. no other sports show compares, including each of them individually. im embarrassed to think of all the hours I wasted listening and watching their show. most sports talk shows are really shitty. like mike and mike on espn radio. . . who the hell listens to that shit? it boggles my mind how they've been on the air all these years. i want to crash my car whenever i hear them talk. greeny? i hate that nick name, shut the fuck up!

I would love to hear Dogs Saturday show. One of my favorite moments Dogs father calling Mike to know if he could still call the show after there break up. Dog you had one cool Pop.

    When they were
I watch them on occasion when up early . Why does ESPN think it's good radio to have Cris Carter or those His& Hers idiots on ?

I saw Mad Dog on CenterStage fairly recently... he was very much in "never say never" mode about reuniting with Mike. Seems like the ill feelings have waned with the passage of time. Whether that leads to them pairing up again someday, who knows, but it's nice that the hostilities have abated for the most part.

Sirius as we all know is sort of a dead end. Mike is no longer the cock of the walk at wfan. Boomer and Carton seem are the new big dogs because their morning show is a success. I don't like Carton, he thinks he's funny, he's not. So both Mike and Dog need each other. They can reclaim their relevancy by reuniting.

I agree -- those two got me to listen to AM radio throughout my 20s.

Could you imagine, though, what a bore it would be doing that show after all these decades? One retard after the next calling in, talking about how the Yankees should spend $100M when they make $8.75 an hour.

I don't think, now in my 40s, I could even feign interest at this point.

Dolan's a dickhead, but he's good with charities, like the Concert For NYC a few weeks after 9/11/01.
