Crimes, 28, of Springfield, is charged in Westfield District Court with larceny of a motor vehicle, operating under the influence and speeding. Crimes was charged July 23 in Springfield with operating a motor vehicle without authority. According to the police report, at 12:20 a.m. Thursday police officer John Parrish saw a car on Springfield Road traveling at 58 mph in a 40 mph zone and driving on a rim due to a flat tire. Parrish pulled the car over and said the driver, Crimes, showed signs of intoxication, the report said. Soon after, dispatch notified Parrish that the car had just been reported stolen from West Springfield. At her Wednesday arraignment, Judge Philip Contant set bail at $250. © 2014 masslive.com.
