I was disappointed that they left the part where she runs over the cop's head with a lawn mower out in the movie version

I think I was in 6th grade when the movie came out... it was the first movie where a group of my friends and I bought a ticket to something PG and then snuck in to the theater showing Misery.

I was such a good kid I told my mom about our plot before I left the house :derp:

I met Stephen King at a fundraiser for the Wavedancer Foundation. He kissed my cheek. It was for an audobook reader who got in a sever motorcycle accident. Other people were there too....John Grisham, Peter Straub, Pat Conroy, and you got a book to be signed by the author you chose.

I agree. Didn't she whack the feet off with an ax in the book?

Frank Muller? That guy is my favorite audiobook reader ever. I'm listening to one of his books in bed right now, in fact.

Not that anyone really cares this is it. We had a really good time and I got all tongue tied and silly when I walked up to Stephen King. Peter Straub was sitting next to him and was giggling at how awe struck I was. He told me as long as I didn't tell him I was his Number One fan....everything would be okay.

You seem like you're a King fan. You ever listen to the books he recorded for him? They're great.

Oh yes, I'm quite the fan. We even took a Maine trip and too pictures in front of his house. We went to Betts Book store and he gave us a map of all the interesting Stephen King related places to see.

I don't know, but I kind of doubt it. That's quite an undertaking.

I read the other day that James Franco is going to play the lead in the miniseries for 11/22/63 they're making for Hulu. He's not who I pictured in my mind when I read that.
