A seasoned experts opinion. (jdwhatever) batters should stay in that box unless pushed out by inside pitches. Pitchers should stay on mound. Getting rid of intentional walk throws doesn't really hasten the game so that's a stupid thing to concentrate on. Catchers no longer should go to the pitcher for conferences. It's the big leagues if they can't figure it out through signs that's their fault.

What's this got to do with the price of tea in China?

I like the slowness of the game and I like long games. But it's a business and they need to attract customers.

I work MLB games and this year was ponderous. Lots of extra innings and rain delays which aren't something that can be fixed (obviously) but "regular" games were 3 1/2-ish hours most nights that I worked and I had 8-10 games a month. Maybe I just had bad luck but it was just a shot year for me to get out early. WGAS/WGAF.

Very easy and the pay is good so I shouldn't complain but it's a second job so I'm not looking for 6-7 hours on top of the 8 "normal" hours (I start 2 hours before game time). Now I also worked NFL games for a few years and I connote stress "FUCK THAT" enough. Fucking nightmare! :jj:
