Thats sportsmanship right there
That was pretty cool.
i don't get it. he wasn't beating him up too badly or in danger of really hurting him. isn't the whole point of this to finish the fight?
it's the ref's job to stop the fight if someone's in serous danger of getting hurt
That was pretty fucking cool. Dude knew his strength and respected his opponent that was obviously weaker but still full of drive.
This is an amateur bout, who cares
if he didn't want to hurt the other guy but wanted to end the fight why not go for a submission? i think i'd be offended if I was the losing fighter here.
Excellent sportsmanship. Plus it's also a good way to get noticed. If he's legit, maybe this will help give him a bit of a boost to a larger organization.
The homoerotic world of Ultimate Fighting

'Let's get it on!'
"They look like they're gonna kiss," one of my friends whispers. It's Saturday night and we're sitting in Monty's, Victoria's sleaziest strip bar. EJ's not talking about the peelers though — tonight there are no girls in sight.
It's Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) night and she's talking about the fighters getting ready to square off on screen.
The two Light Heavyweights stand face-to-face while the referee recites the rules. Their lips are mere centimeters apart. Supposedly they're trying to stare each other down, but EJ is right: it looks like foreplay to a smooching session.
Ultimate Pussification Championship.
Give both of them a trophy.
That isn't sportsmanship.
That's just asians acting weird.
He wasn't winning by that much. That was bullshit. Pussy move. If you have the balls to step in, you have the balls to get beat. Pussy move.
He must have a case of the pillow fists cause that dude didn't look wobbly at all.
Perfect example of why I don't entirely embrace MMA. Someone can be obviously winning a fight but for competition or just wanting to see someone get killed they rarely do.
Why would you watch combat sports at all if you're squeamish about somebody getting pummeled?
