This was posted a few minutes ago on SFN, anyone here notice this?

I downloaded monday 4/7's show on monday afternoon, and started listening to it yesterday during the day and stopped 10 mins in. I then went to continue to listen to it on the drive home and the show was gone. I tried to download it again, but it did not appear anymore as a download. This morning it did appear as a download but the show starts with the Carol Leifer interview, the whole beginning is missing. What did they have to edit out, and why?

Is that the segment where he bitched about leaving the game early?

I've noticed on Thursday and Friday's they jumble up the shows from earlier in the week. All out of order.

If everything before Carol Liefer was edited out it would be these segments:

    • Howard's Long AGT Weekend. 04/07/14. 6:00am
    • Howard Takes Some Calls. 04/07/14. 6:30am
    • Vinnie Favale From CBS Calls In. 04/07/14. 6:35am

I think it's more a case of laziness and incompetence than it is editing.

Yes. They re-air the shows in their entirety over the weekend.

Monday morning Howard ranted endlessly about Howie Mandel's antics, the Snapple Room and how he "didn't sign up to be in The Groundings."

Later Vinnie called in and Howard told him he would not have met Beefus if it were not for Letterman. :rolleye:

does anyone know if Wiggy said something controversial at the beginning of the show. Those are pretty tame topics..

Oh shit maybe its that Vinnie comment because if we are to believe the "official story" Letterman has nothing to do with it. This might be more interesting than i first thought....

I made note of it (nearly verbatim):

Howard: "I'll tell you a quick story. I wouldn't have met my wife if it wasn't for David Letterman. I would not be a happily married man if not for David Letterman. Do you know this, Vinnie?"

Vinnie: "No. Someone mentioned that to me and I said I thought they were wrong."

Howard: "My wife was a sketch girl on David Letterman's show before we met. She was a model, she was in a movie and she worked for Dave's show. Jill Leiderman hired my wife to be in these sketches. Beth played Alan Kalter's hot girlfriend in the sketches. One day Beth meets a girl who was there for the day. She said, 'Are you single?' My wife said she was and said, 'I really want to meet a good guy.' The girl said, 'I've got a great date for you. Come to my fiance's party.' Beth was on a date with a guy from South Africa, a set-up. So Ralph says to me, 'Let's go to this party.' So we met - then shortly after I started dating Beth. Then they quickly got rid of her on Letterman. They got all paranoid I would find out top secret stuff on the Letterman show."

Vinnie: "You know I dispute that but I guess that's a story for another day."

No. When Beth was on Letterman's show in 2010 to promote her Internet download/book, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to show a clip - but they didn't.

it doesn't sound overly sketchy after reading the transcript. I am curious what part Vinnie disputes, is he disputing CuntO getting fired soon after or the entire statement Wiggy made. Any thoughts?

What I thought was odd was Vinnie claimed he didn't know (and even disputes) that Howard & Beth attribute their meeting to Beth being in those Letterman sketches. Beth told a version of that same story when she was on Letterman and Vinnie was on hand as Beth's handler even holding up her stupid book on the street. So Vinnie didn't even bother to listen to Letterman's interview with Beth??

There does seem to be "more to the story" because Howard will not let the story go and Letterman & Vinnie appear to be very careful what they say about it. You never know what Howard's agenda is.

We REALLY have to find this other sketch girl for the truth.
