So many yet few guitar players have exercised an enormous amount of influence on music. This is undeniable. Their influence and cross-influence helped to shape modern music as we know it. While not all of these men share the same 'technicality' or 'feeling' in their playing, it is only through their creation and innovation that we’ve spawned so many guitar players who try to imitate and hone their technique.

I can only add a poll of 10, i consider all of the following to be musical catalysts.

I’ve listed them in a loosely order, keep in mind that trying to cover approximately 70 years of music with 10 guitarists is no easy task.

So who would you vote that influenced so many goddamn motherfucking guitar players?

I think Joe Bonamassa will be, and I didn't even know about him until a few months ago.

Oh I thought he meant like in the modern rock era. Not like Django Rheinhardt and the boyz.

Besides, Jimi died in 1970. Who on that list wasn't alive in 1970? Most were anyway. So your argument is invalid, sir. Good day.

    I said GOOD DAY!
