HUMBLE - Police have arrested a mother and son who they believe are responsible for three separate robberies in Humble. According to Humble police, officers were called to a report of a strong armed robbery at the Burlington Coat Factory store in the 9400 block of FM 1960 on Wednesday. A woman told police she was punched in the head, thrown to the grown and had her wallet stolen by a black woman. As officers responded to the first incident, they received a report of an elderly woman who was robbed at the nearby Walmart. While responding to the incident at the Walmart, Humble police said officers received a report of a third robbery at the nearby Sam’s Club. The suspect and the suspect’s vehicle were similar in all three robberies. Responding officers soon located the suspects and recovered the stolen property. Gabrell Melton and her son, Eugene Brimzy, were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.
