...especially not remade.
What say you?
son of a beach comes to mind
Night of the Living Dead is public domain and has been remade a bunch of times, but never well. Even Tom Savini's version (which had the blessing of Romero) was unnecessary and the end was shit.
There was talk of a remake of Oldboy with Will fucking Smith...which makes me want to throw up even from just typing that.
Then there's talk of a live action remake of Akira...but with emo White people. What a joke.
Really, I don't like remakes in general, but Hollywood is a place of business, not art. So nothing is sacred. If a remake of Citizen Kane could make money, there'd be one. Now that Let Me In and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo remake both flopped, hopefully Hollywood will stop remaking European films that aren't even a few years old.

Hate to tell you but they are re-maoking Oldboy. Will Smith is out but Spike Lee is driecting it and it had Samual L Jackson and Josh Brolin starring in it. There is no need to re-make this movie, and I am sure Hollywood is going to fuck it up by taking out most of the shock value that the first one had.
If they ever fucking try to do a remake of Bullitt, I will get Steve McQueen to return from the dead and the two of us will go Frank Bullitt on Hollywood's ass. And that goes for The Getaway too. And any Dirty Harry film.
And I've heard the Bullitt rumours before.
I liked The Sarah Connor Chronicles...really good..was surprised when it was cancelled

"Shit on a stick 3: the popsickle years"
was way ahead of its time
You may be a little late on going after Hollywood with a resurrected Steve McQueen. About 18 years late in fact. They already remade The Getaway.
2 girls & a cup was a classic
texas chainsaw massacre, although they did it, and horribly
psycho should have never been redone
Have you seen this Bullitt car chase tribute?
It's a nice try.
And I didn't know. Now I do. Fuck. Now I have some asses to go kick.
A remake of a classic is ridiculous.
