Has anyone had experience with any programs that supposedly balance out the volumes of mp3?
I've read up on MP3 Gain Pro, seems good, but would like an unbiased option before dropping 30 bucks.
    Thanks.

This is the link you want. $0.00 works awesome. Has two modes. Single track normalization for if you want every mp3 to be as loud as possible or album normalization if you have a whole list of mp3's that have a wide dynamic range and you want to keep that. Most people just wanna crank each song as loud as possible. Note, this program does *NOT* change anything to do with encoding the file so you will lose no quality at all. It's just a loudness change that can be reversed easily with no loss in quality.

Watch your clipping when you pick a level. You'll figure it out. They have a good faq.

It's awesome. And quick. Just watch the clipping like I said. If you have some shitty encoded files they are probably already clipped so you'll have to play around. Read the FAQ...
