Im all about convenience. Vinyl is cool to look at but it still ends up taking space on the shelf collecting dust. I'm not an audiophile so I don't care if Vinyl sounds better. Vinyl is pretty expensive as well to collect. A millionaire like Baba Booey can afford load up his mansion with pieces of vinyl. Ill take mp3s instead.
Booey like things that take up space, sorta like him.
nice delivery monkey
Flac sounds good. Files aren't that huge. Much better than mp3. Although in a car mp3 sounds fine to me
Booey is a moron.
I think Howard went nuts about the way he holds he head up
Go with FLAC. Lossless.
I am not an audiophile. I do not sit in a dark room with walls of vinyl listening to every little nuance of a song. I use it to break up the silence when I am working on something. MP3s have fine sound quality for me and a hell of a lot more convienent,
"I was 20 years old when MTV first came online in 1981."
I don't miss the popping and skipping I used to get with vinyl even with a good turntable and nice needle.
I still have all of my old albums but I haven't listened to any of them in years.
Your name/av is pretty funny
Thank Youuuuuuuuu !!!!
That was such a stupid explanation of vinyl vs MP3.
Vinyl is overrated and overpriced. The hassle and cost aren't worth it for me. Sure, when all things align, vinyl can sound pretty awesome. Those things are just very tough to align with vinyl and are much easier and more constantly achievable with digital. The main problem with digital isn't the fact that it's digital, it's that a lot of the mastering engineers in the digital age don't know what they're doing or bow to the labels and artists telling them they want it loud and bright. I'll take a well mastered CD over vinyl any day. And there's nothing wrong with MP3. You'll barely notice the difference between the source and a high bitrate MP3, if you notice at all. I use MP4, though, because it's 1 better. The idea that MP3 is garbage these days is non-sense. That was when the standard was 128-160 kbps and encoders weren't as good. I do go with lossless when I can, though.
And Booey is ugly.
Vinyl is my preference all day. Been collecting them since I was about 12. I remember buying Get up and Boogie by Silver Convention. As I kid I used to raid all the thrift stores and go to record swaps. I have so many, if I told my wife I was going to the record store she would tell me gtfo! Last I checked it was over 10,000 pieces....boff.
Doubt Booey even knows there are formats other than MP3.
FLAC files sound great.
I have a bunch of vinyl and an ok TT. Now and then I get the urge to throw a piece on and within minutes I'm pissed off and take it off. I hate surface noise, sibilance, humming, rumbling, inner groove distortion, flipping the damn thing over and hoping I don't drop it, replacing the needle, knowing my setup is garbage since it didn't cost 10k and on and on. So I just look at the cool jacket while I play digital.
