Don't listen to her. She's a woman. And she's black.
What exactly are you saying?
you're a woman and you're black
These are the people that pontificate on our policy... take it with a ton of salt.
i hate her lisp. she's a dud.
She's a woman, and she's black.
Plus she has a retarded lisp, and those ubiquitous braids.
Yeah, don't listen to her.
So I see that you're shooting your drugs tonight vice smoking them. Good on you.
So you're saying i we should tune in?
what does "vice smoking them" mean? tell me what it is and ill tell you if that's what I'm doin. cool.
instead of smoking.
it means instead of.
What a fucking joke.
Uy. It was just a promotional spot for the network. All she was saying is that society benefits when we consider all children "ours" and not leave them to whatever situation into which they were born.
But it doesn't matter. There's a giant divide in this country and on this site that can only view things through either a democratic or republican lens.
Got it. You don't listen to her because she's a woman, black, has hair not to your tastes and a speech impediment.
Nothing about the content of her character or her accomplishments.
Always about the appearance, right? Please tell me that's not how you vote.
"It takes a village idiot?"
not always true
I lean conservative but understand what she is saying. Not all adults are good parents.
Like the ones who have 70% of their kids out of wedlock.
i'm not a fan of hers, but not because of her looks or lisp. her commentary isn't as intelligent or well-reasoned as some of my favorites on msnbc, like rachel maddow or chris hayes. that said, i do find it more difficult to watch/listen to melissa h-p because of her lisp. i'm not proud of that, but it's truth.
Gotcha, dink. I just always raise an eyebrow whenever a woman is evaluated not by the words she speaks but by her physical appearance, where men (for the most part) get a pass, despite how unkempt, fat or horrid they look.
Double standard there, yo. Women get pushed out of these jobs before they hit 50 while men anchor news broadcasts well into their 60s.
Good example? Judy Woodruff's canning by CNN. (Her wiki page says both that she decided not to renew her contract and that Ted Turner was upset they "let her go.")
