MORRISVILLE, N.C. — Amina Shaikh and her husband, Aatif Masood, were on their way to a Friday prayer service at the Islamic Center of Morrisville at the same time authorities were conducting a massive manhunt in Boston to search for a second suspect in the deadly marathon bombings.

“Let’s say a Christian does something wrong – does that make all America bad?” he said. “We should not make this an Islam thing.”

It's so weird how Muslims never, ever seem to understand why there might be backlash. The reason is simple: they just don't get it.

The only equivalent to a "Christian terrorist" might be a whack-job who blows up abortion clinics because he thinks the Bible commands him to do so. Christianity and religion is the last thing on the mind's of the Timothy McVeigh's of the world.

By contrast, these Muslims kill specifically because of their wonderful religion.

Oh, and it might be helpful if they didn't get such massive, massive, overwhelming support from the so-called "good Muslims". Think of how the KKK has been reduced to absolutely nothing and how people would react if they walked into a restaurant or a worksite wearing Klan gear. We wouldn't tolerate it for a second, yet in the Muslim world, these "holy warriors" are worshiped like rock star celebrities.

some pr release stating "we condemn these attacks" from some Muslim group has about as much credibility as hearing "thank you for your call, your business is very important to us" when you're on hold waiting to resolve an issue with your credit card company

the muslims that kill are most often no different than from any other religion, from what i understand the koran doesn't encourage nonsensical killing

Muslims should be worried. Fuck Muslims are killing more Muslims from Libya to Afghanistan than anyone... and still they deny anything is wrong with Islam.

Has to be the most violent, mysoginistic religion on Earth. Period.

Katherine Russell, the widow of Boston bomb suspect, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was 'an all-American girl who was brainwashed' by her extremist husband according to one schoolfriend.

Another agreed: ‘She was just this All-American girl who was brainwashed by her super-religious husband. Nobody understands what happened to her.

‘None of us would have dreamed that she would marry so young or drop out of college and have a baby or convert or be part of any of what’s happened.’

She said, ‘She’s just not the same person at all.’

Funny how you never ever hear a general condemnation of these acts by the muslim community consisting of the "other 99%" who are allegedly peace loving and not hate-filled. They are quick to point out that these acts were carried out by a very minuscule percentage of bad apples (which may be the case) and quick defend themselves but where's the outrage?

why do people feel the need to say "all religions...." when discussing the horrors these muslims cause day in and day out across the world. no, not all religions have anything like that sort of hatred and desire to kill innocent people nor do their track records of the last several decades put them in the same category

but... but... what about what Christians did in the year 1192...

Doesn't that mean we should simply dismiss what all these Muslims are doing now in the year 2013? :dontknow:

But understandable when Muslims do it now

The "just a few extremists" meme is bullshit. There seems to be "just a few extremists" in Libya, Sudan, Mali, Nigeria, Egypt, Gaza, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc, etc.....

Which is why I chose to focus on the "hate and intolerance" statement.

The Church actively foments intolerance against gays.
