to this in 20 seconds
I thought about having a bug, they are cool
Not the car either
this was my first car
My son and daughter will be getting vehicles within the next few months. Not looking forward to that. lol
i'll tell you what, they are a cool fast little sport car, i just spent the day detailing my girls present & it was fun
You the guy who wanted to buy her an old style (70's) bug? If so, smart move.
A GTO Judge?
==@!@== Good on ya , man.
Get her the factory lugnut covers ASAP, please.
what model is it 1.8t or 2 liter? if they didn't give you a receipt get timing belt and water pump asap. should be about $750 to replace at the vw dealer.
2 litre, good advice. is the timing belt a big issue with this model & why the dealer?
ya, stupid wife nixed that idea.
yeah if it breaks it causes thousands in damage to the engine. think it needs to be done every 80k miles. you would probably be fine at an independent mechanic. i just know someone who got the timing belt changed on their jetta. a month later it broke because the shop fucked up. the shop wouldn't fix it until they got their insurance money which took 2 months.
Not a bad car at all, safe, and no real blind spots. I wish her well, stripes. Above all make sure she stays safe, and no phones in the car.
thanks, ya,side airbags & thing seems to be built like a tank
Absolutely, you cannot be too careful.
shes still retarded, she'll fuck it all up
I'd at least compare estimates. I'd bet the dealer is within 10% and the guy who you're essentially trusting with your daughhters life is surely worth that.
It costs roughly 50k on average in schooling for a master certified Ford tech and I'm sure VW is samsies, while the ASE (aftermarket test) is like $200. Who do you want under the hood?
