Said with quiet sarcastic disgust after a (rather well done) CougarLife live read, as if fully nauseated by the quality of his sponsors.

It's about the most real and funny I've heard him in months. I guess sometimes it pays to sit through the endless commercials.

I wonder how much money is really made from these shitty sponsors. Is it really worth the loss of all self respect and credibility?

Sirius: we want you to read extra commercials and any ones that come up, including adam and eve, cougar life etc
Howard: No, i have some integrity
Sirius: we will give into your money demands, ok?
    Howard: Need a new vibrator?

Robin's news: 30 minutes of news----40 minutes of live read commercials. It seems he runs over the 10 o'clock cut off time because of all the lame sponsors.

My first reaction to them was the companies are close to him. As in a relative, business partner, a company he is affiliated with... maybe he uses the profits to pay some of the staff haha.

I would be surprised if all the ads sold on the HSS amounted to 1% of the revenue SiriusXM gets from having his show on the air. He'd be smarter to offer Sirius the money back from his salary and run whatever he wanted during his breaks and keep his dignity.

I always wished that when Gary asked someone what they did for a living, they said "Vermont Teddy Bear Counselor."
