He needs three different types of eye drops three times a day for the next six weeks.

Amazingly enough, the vet didn't tell me to remove either eye.

"Keep the eyes? What a quack, right Robin? Robin?"

Have the eyes removed, put on your false eyelashes and pancake foundation, put the cat in a strangoehode and have your maid take pictures of you.

Something else. The vet Said a lot of cats have viral infections that lay dormant and manifest when the cat gets older and less able to fight it off.

Your vet is a quack that clearly knows not what he is doing. You need to contact Beth immediately and get the name of her vet and get those eyes removed.

I showed the Cat a picture of Beth tonight and warned him if he doesn't stop coughing up hairballs on my good rug I'm going to make him live with her. He looked pretty frightened

My previous cat would frequently have a form of pink eye (that's what my vet called it). I had to use Terramycin Ophthalmic Ointment to get rid of it. She had it so often, she stopped freaking out whenever I put it in her eye. It did the trick though, so no eye removal required.

...but now you can't refer to it as your "blind, resident cat". Your saint status is in jeopardy.
